In the IPL 2025 clash between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), SRH secured a dominant 42-run victory. Batting first, SRH posted a huge total of 231/6, thanks to a brilliant unbeaten 94-run knock by Ishan Kishan, who turned the game around after early wickets. Despite a strong start by RCB’s Phil Salt, who played an explosive innings, the rest of the batting lineup collapsed under pressure. RCB was bowled out for 189 in 19.5 overs. This defeat marked RCB’s first away loss of the season and hurt their chances of finishing in the top two of the league table, making the road to the playoffs more difficult.
