IPL 2025 Playoffs All Four Teams Confirmed,Mumbai Beats Delhi to Secure Spot

IPL 2025 Playoffs All Four Teams Confirmed

The top four teams for the IPL 2025 playoffs have been confirmed after 63 league matches. Mumbai Indians secured their place by defeating Delhi Capitals, which is now officially out of the tournament.

Current Points Table Highlights

  • Mumbai Indians have 16 points and are in the playoffs.
  • Delhi Capitals are the sixth and final team eliminated.
  • Gujarat Titans are leading the table and can reach 20 points if they win today.

Mumbai Qualifies, Delhi Eliminated

In Wednesday’s match at Wankhede Stadium:

  • Mumbai Indians scored 180 runs while batting first.
  • Delhi Capitals struggled at 65/5 and could only score 121 runs, losing the match by 59 runs.

This was Delhi’s sixth loss in 13 games. With just 13 points, even a win in their last match will not be enough to reach the playoffs.

Mumbai, on the other hand, got their 8th win in 13 games, reaching 16 points. They are now in the top 4. To finish in the top 2, MI must win their last match against Punjab and hope both RCB and Gujarat Titans lose their remaining games.

Gujarat Titans Can Strengthen Top Spot

Gujarat Titans will play against Lucknow Super Giants today. Currently:

  • GT has 9 wins in 12 games, with 18 points.
  • If they win today, they will reach 20 points and strengthen their top position.

To secure the number 1 spot, they will also need to beat Chennai Super Kings in their final match.

Lucknow Can Disrupt Gujarat’s Plans

Lucknow Super Giants are already out of the playoffs. With just 10 points from 12 matches, they can’t qualify even if they win.

However, a win today would hurt Gujarat’s chances of finishing at the top.
