GT captain Shubman Gill won the toss and chose to bowl first. Mitchell Marsh smashed a stunning century, scoring 117 runs. Nicholas Pooran also played a strong innings with 56 not out, helping LSG post a massive total of 235/2.

GT could not chase down the target and finished at 202/9. Other contributions came from Jos Buttler (33) and Sherfane Rutherford (38). However, it wasn’t enough to win the match.
